ARTIVISM is an independent publishing house and cultural institution exploring how the literary arts and cultural diplomacy shape advocacy across Africa, the Afro-Atlantic and the global diaspora.

Operating between London and Paris, ARTIVISM publishes digital editorial titles, books, journals ; discovers and develops literary talent; curates salons, residencies and public programmes; and brings together writers, artists, diplomats, entrepreneurs and cultural institutions through ideas that travel across borders and generations.

We believe that literature exists far beyond it’s art form; it is public action. Stories preserve memory, strengthen communities and influence culture.

Guided by Bantu philosophies that understand identity as something created through relationship, reciprocity and shared memory, ARTIVISM explores questions of belonging, justice, love, ambition, and the future—creating spaces where thought and innovative artistic expression can flourish together.

Through publishing, live experiences and long-term collaborations with cultural, diplomatic and commercial partners, ARTIVISM builds enduring cultural archives and platforms for exchange, advancing the next generation of writers, cultural leaders and public thinkers while contributing to a richer, more connected cultural landscape.
