In the church they might call it a burden, not necessarily in a negative sense, but like a calling. It’s even possible that there’s not one eternal self. There could be the eternal selves within the larger practice. I could also feel in you that just because we’re called in one area or known for one thing, it doesn’t mean that our lives are singular.
